This facility is great, and the owner is so knowledgeable and personable he showed us around and answered all our questions. I took my husband for our anniversary, we absolutely loved it! We came to see the Iguanas and they did not disappoint. Iguanas included: one Spiny Tail Iguana, two adult Rhinoceros Iguanas, one adult Green Iguana, and several baby Blue Rock Iguanas and baby Rhinoceros Iguanas. Great place for kids who like reptiles and adults, If I am ever back in the area I will return with my family!
My 7 year old son loved this place! His favorite part was watching them feed the snakes and gators. It is a very personable place. If you are in the Bastrop are I highly recommend stopping by for a couple hours!
The zoo was incredible! Tim, the owner, showed us around and shared so much information! I can't wait to see him expand the place just so I can learn more about the reptiles. It was an amazing experience! I am so happy we got to see so many of the reptiles eat! Super amazing, 10/10 spot!
The animals have personality of their own and like to show off. The gentleman that gave us the tour was great and very knowledgeable about the animals. You can tell he cares and enjoys what he does.
